Excitement is building among the Arsenal faithful after Dani Ceballos’ performance in Spain’s European Championship qualifier against Romania.
Spain won 2-1 with the on-loan Real Madrid man playing a beautiful pass for the ‘pre-assist’ as Paco Alcacer scored the second goal of the game.
Ceballos is enjoying his time at the Emirates Stadium so far after his man-of-the-match performance against Burnley. The Spain international assisted both goals as Arsenal beat Sean Dyche’s side 2-1.
The 22-year-old made the move to north London on a season-long loan deal in the summer. There isn’t thought to be an option to make the move permanent, though Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Metro) has said that the Spanish giants have promised discussions will be held next summer over a permanent move.
Fans have already fallen head over heels for the Spaniard and took to Twitter to drool over his pass.

ونشرت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية تصريحاته، وقال: “الفوز مهم جدًا لأن يوم الأحد هناك مباراة بين ريال مدريد وأتلتيكو مدريد”.
وأضاف: “أحدهما أو كلاهما سيخسر نقاطًا، المهم هو الفوز غدًا أمام أوساسونا، خصم قوي وفي ملعبهم، علينا أن نكون مستعدين”.
وتابع كومان بشأن الفريق الذي يفضل خسارته في الديربي: “أولاً يجب أن نفوز في مباراتنا، وبالنسبة للديربي النتيجة الأفضل للفريق أن يخسر المتصدر (أتلتيكو مدريد)، لكن يجب ألا نهتم بمباراتهم، والتركيز على الفوز في مباراتنا”.
وعن التوتر والخلافات بعد مباراة إشبيلية، استطرد كومان: “هذه أشياء تحدث، أنا شخصياً، بعد هزيمتنا 2-0 في مباراة الذهاب، كانت هناك ركلة جزاء ضد ألبا ولم نحصل عليها، أحيانًا تكون القرارات ضدك وأحيانًا لصالحك”.

وأكمل: “استحقينا التأهل على حساب إشبيلية، وحدوث القليل من الجدل طبيعي، ثم يذهب كل فريق ويتم تحليل الأمور”.
وبشأن مشجعي الفريق، استطرد: “إنهم سعداء، يتفاعلون مع الفريق مرة أخرى لقد عملنا بجد للحصول على هذا الشعور مع جماهيرنا، نأمل يومًا ما أن يمتلئ الملعب بمشجعينا لأن ذلك يعطينا شعورًا أفضل ونحتاجه”.
وعن إمكانية الفوز بلقبي (الليجا وكأس الملك)، علّق كومان: “أنا واقعي، لا يمكننا تغيير رأينا حول فرص الفوز، يجب أن نستمر في الفوز بالمباريات”.
وأتم: “نحن خلف أتلتيكو بنقاط قليلة ولدينا ثمانية لاعبين لعبوا أكثر من أي شخص آخر في أوروبا، نأمل أن نقول إننا عملنا بشكل جيد وفزنا بالألقاب”.
أكد ديديه جوميز المدير الفني السابق للإسماعيلي والحالي لفريق سيمبا التنزاني أنه يتابع الدوري المصري بشكل جيد خاصة مباريات الدراويش.
وكان فريق الإسماعيلي قد خسر أمام الأهلي قبل ساعات في مباراة الجولة 12 من عمر الدوري المصري الممتاز بنتيجة 2-0.
وقال جوميز في تصريحات تلفزيونية لفضائية “الشمس” عبر برنامج “البلدوزر”: “لدي ثقة كبيرة في الإسماعيلي أنه سيخرج من كبوته، وصعب جدًا أن يهبط الفريق للدرجة الثانية”.

وأضاف: “سيمبا فريق كبير وسعيد بتجربتي معه، والفريق لم يتأهل بشكل رسمي لدور الـ8 ببطولة دوري أبطال افريقيا ولكن موقفنا جيد حتى الآن”.
وتابع: “إذا استقبلت عرضًا من نادي مصري، فأنا أريد البقاء في سيمبا، وأمتلك فريقا جيدًا وأريد تحقيق شيء في إفريقيا، وأخطط للاستمرار مع سيمبا لمدة موسمين مقبلين”.
واستكمل: “أحتاج إلى 5 نقاط لكي أتأهل للدور المقبل من دوري أبطال إفريقيا، وأشعر بالقلق من نادي فيتا كلوب، يمكنه أن يعود في أي وقت ولم يخرج من المنافسة ولا يمكنني أن أقول من الذي سيصعد من هذه المجموعة”.
واختتم جوميز: “ميكسوني لاعب مميز وقادر على اللعب في أي مكان بالعالم، والأهلي مهتم باللاعب ومن الصعب الحديث عن أمور مالية في الوقت الحالي”.
وكان فريق سيمبا قد حقق فوزًا على نظيره الأهلي في مباراة الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات ببطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا.
It would be fair to say that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino thinks a fair bit of young midfielder Oliver Skipp, as do the club’s supporters.
Indeed, Skipp has now made 14 first-team appearances for the London club – including two Premier League outings during the 2019/20 campaign.
It was actually the teenager’s 19th birthday on Monday, and as expected, Tottenham’s official Twitter account was on hand with a special message.
And judging by the response section, the Spurs supporters are also very excited about what the Englishman could produce in the future.
While some hailed him as the future of the club, others tipped him for a big year and one described him as one of the best English prospects around.
Pochettino used Skipp on eight occasions in the Premier League last season, and it does appear that the youngster will also be involved this term.

He has not been selected in the club’s last three games but will hope to be involved over the next few weeks as the fixtures start to pile up.

Looking at Real Madrid’s summer transfer window of 2019, one could easily spot flaws creeping up on the Spanish giants.
To be honest, many have done exactly that but no one could do it sooner than their own media based in Madrid.
Marca covered their variety of flaws, bashing Los Blancos for spending too much, not covering their weak spots, failing to ship off the deadwood and many more. In fact, they went through all the trouble of finding eight mistakes in total, slamming Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez for failing to finish their long-overdue revolution.
But despite just one Galactico joined the squad in the form of Eden Hazard, he is not the only signing that should bring optimism, hope and a breath of fresh air for the Whites.
The other signing that should definitely excite the Madridistas and Zidane himself is their newcomer from Serbia, Luka Jovic.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt man arrived for a reported sum of €65m (£57.2m) before certain add-ons are calculated into the equation and comes as Real Madrid’s new and prolific forward to lead their lines.
But so far, although he has played in all four of Real Madrid’s opening games in the new 2019/20 La Liga season, he was in the starting 11 only once, tallying just 106 minutes over the course of those fixtures.
By the look of things, at least for now, he is bound to be a rotational player; one coming from the bench to possibly make the difference in that way.
How is that kind of a player, a player not even a Galactico, supposed to lead Los Blancos to glory once again? He may not be the main man at the moment but Jovic certainly looks he could be in the future.
His traits are obvious.
After all, last season, only Robert Lewandowski and Paco Alcacer netted more goals than Jovic’s 17-goal tally with 23 and 18 respectively in the Bundesliga.
Lewandowski is already a well-known finisher, one of the world’s best in fact, and Alcacer had a season like none before, enjoying his career-best spell.
But Jovic produces on the biggest stages as well.
His ten goal-run in last season’s Europa League campaign for the German team was only surpassed by Olivier Giroud’s 11-goal haul as he led Chelsea to eventual glory, which, interestingly enough, made them cross paths with Jovic and his Eagles as well.

The goal-scoring part of his skill-set is definitely there for everyone to see and so is his clutchness and the ability to perform when it matters the most.
When we revisit the fact that the last time Real Madrid splashed out on a young and mostly unproven striker in a 21-year-old Karim Benzema, it ended up being a true gem. Their move for Jovic, therefore, now makes slightly more sense.
Rarely do Los Blancos and Perez get these things wrong and if history is any indication, when Real Madrid spend big, they also spend well.
The signings of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo can attest to that. Granted, €65m (£57.2m) definitely sounds on the lower side, especially considering the state of the modern market. But it’s still a huge amount before add-ons and it’s on a 22-year-old striker who is yet to do it at a major club.
It may not sound like that much of a gamble considering how good Jovic was for Frankfurt but with all due respect to the German team, Real Madrid is a serious step up.

One other aspect the Galacticos likely took into account when they were weighing up whether to buy the young Serbian or not, was the tactical flexibility.
Granted, on paper, the forward has mostly been deployed either as a clear-cut striker or something as a second-striker/ attacking midfielder, just behind the designated no.9 of the team.
But in reality, the youngster can still function in different systems regardless of his preferred role on the team sheet.
It’s a trait that could even see Jovic and Benzema play alongside each other.
A tactical switch that would revert Real Madrid to a system that deploys two strikers up front could, in that case, maybe even get the best out of both players.
The Serbian assisted six goals last season in the Bundesliga and while that may not sound like a sublime figure, it becomes better when we find out three of those were to one of his forward partners in Ante Rebic.
It wouldn’t really be a stretch to say that their summer signing and Benzema could complement each other the same way or even better. After all, the Frenchman assisted 11 goals across all competitions last season himself.
The striker may not have slipped right into Real Madrid’s starting lineup as of yet but that very much feels like it’s just a matter of time, especially with his French teammate ageing.
And once Benzema does eventually move on, the limelight will be Jovic’s for the taking.

The forward struck the match-winner in an insipid 1-0 victory over FC Astana in the Europa League, and made it two goals from two starts when he fired home against a resilient Rochdale side in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night. In a game that exposed all of United’s turmoil, Greenwood was the sole individual the Old Trafford faithful could get behind. And boy did he deliver.
Per Whoscored, the teenager received the highest match rating of any player on the pitch and it’s easy to see why. Apart from his ice-cold finish in the second-half, Greenwood always sought to embrace the responsibility of trying to be his side’s hero, shouldering a huge attacking burden. By the end of the game, the 17-year-old had fired in seven shots at goal, of which four were on target.
Perhaps just as exciting for United is his decision-making. His five key passes were a game-high, and proved he is more than just a predatory finisher. Playing from the right-hand side, his ability to go both ways gives him considerable versatility in potentially playing a pass or shooting for goal.
Already, the attacker is proving he can be a handful for opposition defences in just his two starts this season. There will undoubtedly be tougher tests ahead than FC Astana and Rochdale, but his massive potential is already under-lining his status as a saviour for United.

Mauricio Pochettino faces a decision as to who plays there if he sticks with four in defence, with Serge Aurier suspended following his red card against Southampton last weekend.
The Ivory Coast international may well have been replaced anyway following his horror show against Bayern Munich – left winger Serge Gnabry scored four times for them – and the Argentine manager does have some options.

Moussa Sissoko filled in there following the dismissal against Saints, while Juan Foyth, Eric Dier and Walker-Peters – the only natural right-back of the quartet – would also be able to play there if needed.
However, it appears Spurs supporters aren’t too keen on the man who started their opening three Premier League games of the campaign, with one even saying he is “as bad as Aurier”.
Many others would prefer to see Dier, Foyth or Sissoko given an opportunity there instead at the Amex Stadium, as you can see below.
