ورغم انسحاب نابولي، إلا أن باب الرحيل لا يزال مفتوحًا أمام نونيز، في ظل اهتمام أندية أخرى، على رأسها الهلال السعودي وميلان، بالإضافة إلى عروض ضخمة من الدوري السعودي.

وأشار رومانو إلى أن نونيز لا يستطيع الانتظار طويلًا، وقال: “الجميع ينتظر قرار نابولي، لكن نونيز لديه عروضًا قوية من السعودية، ولا يمكنه الانتظار للأبد”.

Kent spinners Aron Nijjar and Yuzvendra Chahal ripped through the Nottinghamshire middle order to reduce the visitors to 219 for 8 in their LV= Insurance County Championship match at Canterbury, a deficit of 227.Steven Mullaney and Joe Clarke, who made 86 and 62 respectively, looked to have blunted the Kent attack with a century stand for the third wicket, but Nijjar took career-best figures of 3 for 41 and India’s Chahal claimed 3 for 52.Nottinghamshire had started the day well, taking 6 for 59 to bowl Kent out for 446 before lunch. Lyndon James was one of four Notts bowlers to claim two wickets and he finished with the best figures of 2 for 30. Kent captain Jack Leaning made 64.In a game that could be pivotal for their chances of staying in Division One, Kent resumed on 387 for 4 but Harry Finch fell for 47 in the third over of the morning, glancing Dane Paterson behind. It was 17 for 1 at lunch, after which Hogan had Haseeb Hameed caught behind for 9, but from 29 for 2 Notts recovered with Mullaney and Clarke putting together a partnership worth 131.Chahal generated some turn during his first spell, but aside from a difficult caught-and-bowled chance off Mullaney the batters initially picked him with relative ease.Mullaney hit Evison for four to pass 50, while Clarke did likewise with a single from Gilchrist, but Nijjar finally broke through when he had Clarke caught by Leaning at mid-on with the final ball of the session to leave the visitors on 160 for 3 at tea.That wicket sparked a dramatic shift in the momentum, with Notts losing 4 for 14 and going nearly ten overs without a boundary. Alex Gidman has been appointed as England Women’s assistant coach, after moving on from his batting-coach role at Kent.Gidman, the former Gloucestershire batter who went on to coach Worcestershire to the 2019 T20 Blast title, will be working under his former county team-mate Jon Lewis, England Women’s head coach, whom he succeeded as Gloucestershire’s captain back in 2009.His appointment means that Lewis will now be supported by three permanent assistant coaches, with Gareth Breese and Matt Mason making up the trio. Gidman’s first involvement will be for the tour of India in December, where the team are due to play three T20Is and a one-off Test in Navi Mumbai.”Alex joins us at a very exciting time as we start to prepare for what will be the busiest 15 months of women’s international cricket,” Jonathan Finch, the director of England Women’s Cricket, said. “To be able to bring in someone of Alex’s experience is fantastic news and will only add to the support we can provide to players to continuously move the team forward.”I would also like to thank Kent CCC in allowing Alex to make the move to his new role so quickly and support our preparation for the upcoming tour to India.”Gidman added: “I am delighted to join the England Women’s coaching team.”There is a great blend of experienced and young players within the squad and I can’t wait to get started and add value over the next few years during what is an exciting period for the women’s game.”I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Kent. Zanotto abriu o placar para o São Bernardo na final da Taça das Favelas, porém perdeu o pênalti decisivo após o jogo terminar empatado em 1 a 1.
